Rainwater is damaging towards the exposed surface of buildings as it penetrates the exposed masonry surface, dissolving the soluble salts and depositing them on the surface consequently staining the walls. This is also known as efflorescence which spoils the perfection of the face. Greenseal Masonry Water Repellent (MWR40) is a Siliconate that is specially engineered for imparting a colourless water-repellent surface finish to mineral building material without significantly reducing water vapour permeability. Design to provide a barrier against rising damp, this treatment remains effective for 10 to 20 years. In the case of glazed tiled surface, water can easily seep into the masonry through the mortar joints resulting in damp interior walls. On the other hand, water soluble salts migrate into the tiles from the mortar during the laying of floor tiles. Low fired clay products such as roof tiles, bricks, unglazed floor tiles absorb water and the soluble salts are subsequently transported to the surface and disfigures the product. This continuous cycle of dissolving and crystallisation of the water-soluble salts over a period of time leads to the disintegration of the clay product. Damage caused to the wet substrate on clay product due to moss, lichen and algae growth is also a common problem spoiling the beauty of the façade. Therefore, water resistance is an important factor in concrete and masonry construction for safety, health and comfort building occupants. The use of Greenseal MWR40 treatment can prevent efflorescence of salts absorbed and makes clearing of the tiled floor easier.

Our waterstops are extruded from specially compounded PVC in accordance with BS 2571 Class and ASTM 3 Type G3. They are specifically engineered for use in water retaining and water excluding structures where a positive seal is required for poured in-situ concrete expansion, contraction and construction joints. Greenseal PVC waterstops are ideal for preventing water penetration as they form a continuous watertight barrier when embedded into the concrete for both centrally and externally placed applications. These range of profiles are available in rolls with separate intersections supplied to simplify and easy to be installed in site fabrication. Greenseal Flexible Cementitious Systems is a flexible two component cement based polymerized waterproof coating. It forms a cementitious waterproofing membrane to prevent water infiltration when applied on concrete and mortar surfaces. Greenseal cementitious systems is usually applied to maintain substantial water vapour transmission and to create a durable and continuous watertight coating. Additionally, it is aesthetically presentable and suitable for exterior coating for roofs. It is also easily applicable to vertical and horizontal surfaces with a brush or roller. Greenseal Flexi 201 is a flexible cementitious waterproofing that consists of two components, that is Portland cement, and selected well graded sand; they are formulated with specially selected and graded fine quartz and high quality latex to create a brush-able, smooth slurry, while creating an excellent bond and adhesion to most substrates. Its properties make them highly suitable to be applied on concrete and mortar to prevent water infiltration by filling and sealing pores and voids or hair line cracks in substrates. It also provides a breathable coating which allows for water vapour transmission.

Greenseal 5000 is a waterproofing system ideally used between slabs to protect the slabs against the penetration and lateral movement of water. Greenseal 5000 waterproofing membrane is a single component of cold applied, seamless, elastomeric and moisture-curing bitumen that is modified with polyurethane; it is specially formulated for hand application by squeezing or using a roller onto vertical or horizontal surface. As it is liquid in state, It should be applied directly from the container and designed especially for use as a flexible continuous waterproofing membrane between two-course concrete, masonry construction, bituminous toppings and also for exterior below grade waterproofing of masonry. Using roller, brush or by spraying, this system can be easily applied to corners, angles and non-uniform surfaces. Greenseal 5000 material forms very good elongation and as a flexible waterproof membrane after curing.
