Short Span Pedestrian Bridge (SSPB) utilize modular alloy frame for the main truss connected together with spigots. Plan bracing and side bracing using standard tubes and coupler arrangement. Decking which can be either Aluminium deck with plywood or steel deck sits on bottom chord of the trusses. Standard bridge width is 1.0m and can span up to 16m length. Complete bridge assembly can be carried out on the ground before lifted into position by cranes. Assembly is faster with trusses connected with spigots, and bracing utilizing clip-in-hook connection.
