Aggregate Construction Aggregate
Aggregate is one of the important minerals to be used in construction product and usage. Aggregate usually refers to the mineraloid of rock particles that extract from a quarry. It is usually being processed and separate to a different size to cater for different construction usage. Large aggregate is usually used for gabion block retaining walls that help in erosion prevention. Normal size aggregate, crusher run, VSI, and ballast will be most useful in concrete works. Ballast is a mixture of sand and gravel. The usage includes concrete, precast, asphalt, subbase for roads, aqueduct, garden and many more.
The aggregate has a wide range of usage from infrastructure to residential. It can also be used for geosynthetic reinforcement and some other high architecture specification purpose. Some interior design also uses the aggregate as a decoration for their design either for outdoor or indoor.
