Aquaprufe TPO known as the Thermoplastic Polyolefin Waterproof Membrane is a type of polymer with its waterproof material based on polypropylene(PP) and latex. It is a common product to be used on the roofing membranes and suitable for commercial and industrial roofing applications. It body film comes in a white colour which helps in a better reflection of UV sun rays and material is excellent weather resistance. It has very low maintenance because the material has the ability to resist the growth of mould and alga. It is a very durable roofing membrane as it can be used more than 20 years and easily replace and install.
Aquaprufe TPO is mainly applied on the roof of construction building, industrial roof, civil and public buildings. TPO-P a reinforce membrane with mesh is applied to a single ply roof waterproof system with mesh by a mechanical fastening. To apply on the concrete substrate an underlying layer of fabric TPO-L is needed for the full adhesion and waterproof result. Other flashings are should applied to the TPO-H homogeneous membrane.
