Sand Construction Aggregate

Sand refers to the smaller mineral particles rock. It can be found in every continent of the world especially Malaysia. Every place has its own supplier or manufacture of sand and the sand composition is various from area to area but most of the component is silica sand in the form of quartz. In construction cement, sand, aggregate, and water are usually used together which is why sand is the most common mineral to be used in concrete, masonry work, paint, glass and etc. This is why sand is very high demand in the construction market and nearly every construction project must use it. However sand is non-renewable resources and not all sand is suitable to be used in a construction project. Which is why there is many new substitute product of sand is constantly making its way to market. Products such as recycled aggregate, fly ash, slag, quarry dust, and many more constantly push to the construction market to slow down the natural sand depletion and possible to total substitute it. The usage includes concrete, precast, asphalt, garden, glass, paint, plastering, tile and many more.
